The following outlines some of the main features available within the Stores function of IPMS
Stores
This function comprises all the elements required to provide control of stock item details, valuation, stock holding, suppliers, contracts with those suppliers and any associated catalogues.
Valuation options include FIFO, Average and Standard Costing.
Movement Control includes:-
full movement tracking and stock identification by location
pick lists, re-order lists
Warehouse facilities include:-
multiple warehouse with stock at each location
inter-warehouse transactions
repeat part facility
bin locations
automatic warehouse replenishment
Allows issues and receipts of stock in a different unit
Caters for comprehensive pricing options, including multiple fields, quantity breaks etc
Automatic re-order capability
Stock taking support includes:-
perpetual stocktaking
stock-take sheets and variance reports
stock-take by group/bin locations
Standard reports include:-
Valuations / Movements / Balances
Recommended re-orders
ABC analysis
Stock cards Memo pad facility to retain notes on any transactions
