IPMS - Access and Authorities

The following outlines some of the main features of the Authorities function of IPMS

Authorities Access to IPMS is controlled by a facility which allows operators to have restricted access by menu type. Access controls include:-

• enquiries only

• addition and amendment of standing data

• print requests

• reporting routines

• period end routines etc.

Access controls can be set:-

• by confidential undisplayed passwords Transaction Authorisations

• financial authority limits can be set against Requisition, Purchase Order and Invoice

• action file routes transactions to correct operator for authorisation

• individual product groups can be restricted to specified users

• individual cost centres can be restricted to specified users
