The following outlines some of the main features available within the Electronic Catalogue functions of IPMS

Electronic Catalogues

The Product Catalogue Management function provides requisitioners and buyers with ready access to product and associated databases via a comprehensive user-friendly lookup facility. It provides facilities for:-

• recording stock and non-stock goods and also services

• controlled access levels to the function according to user permissions

• analysis of purchasing history by item held

• item price history analysis

• lead times and minimum order quantities held

• automatic price updates

• auto-import facility of supplier catalogues

• use of internal references or supplier part numbers

• powerful text based search facility

• display of all suppliers, or preferred suppliers if item not stocked
